Causes of piston rod overheating

(1) When the piston rod and stuffing box are assembled, there is deflection, which causes local friction, so it should be adjusted in time;

(2) The holding spring of the sealing ring is too tight and the friction is large, so it should be adjusted properly;

(3) If the axial clearance of the sealing ring is too small, the axial clearance shall be adjusted according to the specified requirements;

(4) If the oil supply is insufficient, the oil supply should be increased appropriately;

(5) The running in of piston rod and sealing ring is not good, so the running in should be strengthened during the matching research;

(6) Impurities mixed in gas and oil should be cleaned and kept clean.
