What should be paid attention to in gear production
The high noise of gear transmission has always been a problem for people. After repeated testing, analysis and improvement tests, it is concluded that the noise of gear transmission can be reduced only by comprehensive treatment of all links of production. Note 1: control the accuracy of the gear
Basic requirements for gear accuracy: it is verified by practice that the gear accuracy is controlled at gb10995-887 ~ 8, the linear speed is higher than 20m / s, and the tooth pitch deviation, ring gear radial runout tolerance and tooth direction tolerance must stably reach grade 7 accuracy. When the gear reaches grade 7 precision, the tooth part shall be chamfered and the tooth root boss shall be strictly prevented.
Note 2: control the quality of raw materials
High quality raw materials are the prerequisite for the production of high-quality products. No matter what way, the raw materials must undergo strict chemical composition inspection, grain size measurement and purity evaluation after arriving at the factory. The purpose is to adjust the heat treatment deformation in time and improve the quality of tooth profile machining.
Note 3: prevent heat treatment deformation
After rough machining, the gear blank is turned into a fine forging, which is normalized or quenched and tempered to achieve:
1. Steel parts soften for cutting;
2. Remove residual stress; Gear drive;
3. Refine the grain and change the structure to improve the mechanical properties of the steel;
4. Make organizational preparations for handling.
It should be noted that during normalizing or quenching and tempering treatment, the furnace temperature must be kept uniform, and station appliances must be used to heat and cool the workpieces evenly. It is strictly prohibited to stack them together. For gears requiring drilling to reduce weight, the drilling sequence shall be arranged after heat treatment. To reduce deformation. Low quenching temperature and short heating time, uniform heating and slow cooling shall be adopted for high-frequency quenching of tooth surface.
