1. Rolling
By rolling forming, a cold work hardening layer is formed on the rolling surface, reducing the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, and delaying the generation or expansion of fatigue cracks, thereby enhancing the surface's corrosion resistance.
2. Chromium plating
Precision piston rods can have a hard, smooth, and corrosion resistant surface after being chrome plated. After chromium plating, the coating hardness of the product can reach HV1100, and the coating is smooth, with uniform thickness, and strong dispersion ability.
3. Quenching and tempering
After quenching and tempering, it can enhance the working strength of the material, help to seal small surface cracks, hinder the expansion of erosion, and enhance the surface corrosion resistance. However, not all require tempering, so the tempering process should be judged based on actual conditions and materials.
