Gear transmission is a common transmission method in mechanical equipment, which is widely used in all walks of life.

As a kind of gear equipment to transfer motion and energy, it plays an important role in almost all large equipment. Gear defect is also an important factor inducing mechanical defects, so the diagnosis of gear box is of great significance to reduce the cost of equipment repair, prevent accidents and reduce production loss.

One. Cause analysis of machine tool gear oscillation defect

1.1 the elastic stiffness of a pair of meshing gears changes periodically. The change of the elastic stiffness of the tooth changes the tortuosity of the tooth, which leads to the collision of the tooth in and out of the meshing area, causing the oscillation and noise with the same frequency as the meshing frequency.

1.2 the transient free oscillation of machine tool gear is caused by external continuous transmission force. When the defect is serious, the natural frequency oscillation of the box is often caused.

1.3 tooth surface fatigue mainly includes pitting and falling. The primary cause of pitting is microcracks caused by alternating stress on the surface of the working surface. When the lubricating oil enters the crack, the inlet can be closed first, and then knead. The lubricating oil in the microcrack propagates the crack under high pressure. As a result, the small metal plate fell from the tooth surface, leaving a small pit, forming pitting. If the fatigue crack on the surface propagates deeper and farther, a series of small pits may be connected due to the failure of data between pits, resulting in large area or large metal falling, which is called falling. Drop and severe pitting are only different in degree, but there is no difference in essence. In the open gear transmission, due to the lack of lubrication and the increased possibility of entering dirt, the abrasive wear always precedes the pitting corrosion.

1.4 when the gear has defects such as bias, pitch error, tooth profile error, etc., the gear can not run smoothly, or accelerate or decelerate, causing the tooth to collide with the tooth, causing the tooth surface to accept larger dynamic additional load, causing the gear oscillation
